VP PERFORMANCE HULL...SETTING THE NEW STANDARD FOR AFFORDABLE TRIPLE-TOON'S

Manitou’s conventional flat bottom triple tube style craft has been replaced with the new VP. This boat features hull characteristics similar to those of the SHP, but the VP has been designed for lower horsepower ratings and relatively moderate speeds. Including a V-Toon® hull for maximal maneuverability, the VP also comes standard with Teleflex SeaStar hydraulic steering. The VP pontoon boat provides a competitive value for boaters seeking a suitable craft for their skiing and tubing expeditions.

Manitou VP technology

While the style of pontoon boat may seem familiar, the Manitou twin tube hull delivers performance that is totally unexpected! Capable of up to 130HP on some models, this is sure to give tubers and light skiers a thrilling ride. Unlike other pontoons, every Manitou twin tube is equipped with standard Xtreme Steering, significantly reducing steering loads. Check below deck—we’ve under-skinned the rear of the boat to curtail drag. As for deck rigidity, those double cross-members are exclusive to Manitou. With the exception of the Legacy LT, X-Plode XT, Legacy, X-Plode and SES, every Manitou model is available with this economical hull design.

CONSTRUCTION AND QUALITY

SIMPLY THE BEST IN PONTOON BOAT CONSTRUCTION AND CRAFTSMANSHIP.

We started Manitou over 30 years ago. And during that time, one thing has never changed — our passion for the water and pontoon boats.

Our focus is simple: we want to make every day on the water a great one. That’s why we’ve never been content with “standard” pontoon boats. Over the years, we’ve elevated handling with V-Toon technology, created more intelligent floorplans, added fresh finishes and colors, and two years ago, introduced fiberglass into our Legacy and X-Plode lines. Adding fiberglass, without significantly increasing weight, has further blurred the line between our pontoons boats and runabouts.

The bottom line is that while we build great pontoon boats, our real goal is to simply build the best boat for you and your family. No matter which Manitou that may be, we’re confident that when you’re in a boat with our name on it, you’ll never feel like you’ve made any sort of compromise.
